Plans & Pricing

Lip Monthly has four primary payment plans to choose from. Boxes from each type of plan  can be shipped around the world, and United States shipping is free.

Monthly Plan

The monthly payment plan consists of a $12.95 fee for a single month. Since you pay by the month, this option may be ideal for new subscribers in that they can see how they like Lip Monthly's services before committing to an entire year.

3 Month Plan

For a fee of $38.85, subscribers can receive a 3 month's worth supply of boxes. While it isn't vey expensive compared to a lot of subscription boxes, purchasing the single month plan will save you money in the long run.

6 Month Plan

A 6 month supply of Lip Monthly boxes will cost $77.70. This isn't bad, it all just depends on the subscribers preferences on how they wish to pay their due amount.

Annual Plan

For $155.95, you can pay for an entire year's worth of Lip Monthly boxes. This option has its own advantages as well. For committed subscribers, it can be a huge time-saver in that they do not have to set apart time to pay their monthly bill. They get it all over with in one payment.

If you are a subscriber who lives in the United States, you will receive tracking information around the 10th to 15th of the month. You will be sent an e-mail which includes USPS tracking information where you can track the progress of your package.

As an added bonus feature, all subscribers can save up to 90% through exclusive member offers and win free products in giveaways and contests. You can earn Shop Points for referring friends and family as well.

Customer Reviews

Public perception is an important factor to consider while evaluating any company and its services. Companies can advertise to an extent, but real customer reviews can be very telling in how your experience will actually be.

Overall, the feedback was mixed amongst Lip Monthly reviews. There were a lot of happy customers, but there were a few complaints that I thought should be brought up.

The most common problem circled around shipments. There were a few situations in which the first few months were great, but then their boxes started to go missing. A payment would be made and the box was scheduled to arrive at a certain time, but it never came.

This wasn't the case for nearly half of Lip Monthly reviews, but it's still something important to consider.

If you really want to up your lip game, but are unsure about this problem then the best solution would be this - start with the monthly payment plan, and see what happens from there. If your boxes start to go missing, you can always cancel your subscription and look elsewhere.

Lip Monthly vs The Competition

One of the biggest competitors of Lip Monthly is Burt's Bees in that both companies hold a special niche dedicated to lip care.

While Burt's Bees isn't necessarily a subscription service, it has a gift program where you can buy or send a box full of their products. While Lip Monthly has a set monthly price of $12.95, the price of their boxes vary depending on its contents. Most boxes range from $10 all the way to $50.

Products in Lip Monthly's vary more since they feature more than just one brand. Putting this into consideration, they are an overall better option unless you only want lip products from Burt's Bees.

Product Quality

Lip Monthly has partnered with niche brands to big brands all around the world to deliver you 4-5 deluxe products each month. The majority of products will be meant for your lips, but there are some other self-care items thrown in occasionally. For the most part it will be things like glosses, sticks, balms and stains, though.

Most colors have great pigment and apply flawlessly.

Is It Right For Me?

If you're someone who's looking to up your lip game, then you may seriously want to consider Lip Monthly. The different colors and stains delivered to your doorstep each month make it easy to experiment with your daily makeup routine.

Their sole focus is the lips, so if you're looking to try out more than just lipstick, you may want to consider trying a different beauty box instead. Subscription boxes services like Sephora Play offer many different types of beauty and wellness products.

  1. Shipping is a major problem. If you don’t mind having to email every month just to get your subscription then sign up. I am cancelling. They cannot seem to fix the problem, just excuses about a new website.

    • We’re sorry to hear that you had a poor experience with the website, Tracy. We will definitely put this into consideration when we reevaluate Lip Monthly, thank you for sharing!
